Saturday August 17, a beautiful, hot, "summer like night" had us at the Shadbolt Theatre, one of our favourite venues. Not only is it a lovely theatre, but the staff there are wonderful and very generous! We were doing a fundraiser for the Marguerite Dixon Transistion Society. We had a great time as usual and with us on guitar was the marvelous Robbie Steiniger.

Sorry we couldn't stick around to say hello after the performance on Saturday night at the Shadbolt Centre - it looked like you had quite a gaggle down there at the cd retail outlet! I thought the show was just fabulous - really a well rounded set with tenderness and humour and four beautiful voices. I was glad to have my suspicions validated when you mentioned Robbie being one of the best guitarists in Canada. It was a treat to enjoy his virtuousity but also that musicianship to fit with your own stylings. It may have been a gorgeous night to be in the garden but you all made us forget about that. One of our most enjoyable times will be coming to a community near you, touring around BC, maybe Alberta, maybe Ontario, or in our own backyard of North Vancouver and meeting you personally, plus we hope you can all come out to say hello. Please stay after the show and say hello to us! We love meeting new people.
